Is This A Normal 'new To All Star Cheer' Experience

I personally cheered at a gym for 3 years and we got last every competition in those 3 years but I stayed because we had fun together later that gym sadly shut down due to lack of fees being paid and Now I'm at a new gym where we place 1,2,3 every time and it is amazing there and I love it but I wouldn't trade memories with my old gym for the world :))

When we started out we started at a very small gym where the age range of kids varied widly. My daughter's team did not do well at all. I had her work on her skills and sharpen her moves we moved to another bigger gym that was better and they were placing in the top 3 all season. Now after 5 years we have moved onto another big gym and they do very well and we almost always get first. Our coaches now make changes after almost every comp based on what the judges say.
