I don't even know what kind of bus it is tbh. The gym takes a few buses to Indy.

Oh I thought you were taking your own bus (which I thought was crazy all that way, but thought I'd be supportive anyway!). But yeah, if the gym takes buses I'd definitely go with them. Flying in January to this part of the country is super unreliable, timewise. I'm the opposite of most people - flying is my last resort mode of transportation when traveling.

No matter how y'all get to Indy, safe travels everyone! :)

As much as I hate to say this, I think we'll be on the bus. One of CP's teams isn't until the 7-9pm bracket. I really don't want to drive home all night in the ice and there are no flights that late anyway. I'd rather be snoozing semi-comfortably on the bus. I think. I don't know, I can't make up my mind!

I think the bus is a good option really. Plus if you run into road drama at least there is safety in numbers. Plus, I betcha can put a cooler on that thing :)

You and I are kindred spirits. I'm a bit nervous about going to Indy innJanuary- especially since tons of people got stuck on the highway last year because of a winter storm!

I'm taking Teal Tours! The CEA bus out of Salem. It leaves from the Salem Gym in evening on Thursday. There's one out of Kernersville that leaves early in the am, as well. Last year, we took the bus out of K'ville and dodged all of the bad weather. If you remember, about half of SE almost didn't show because they were stuck overnight on the highway and flights got delayed and cancelled!

I'm praying that we are just as blessed this year. Teal Tours has movies, drinks, a bathroom, and we stop for lunch! We chose Salem so that CP can get a whole day of school in before peacing out!

I thought about that, but with 4 of us going it just wasn't cost effective- especially with the hotel rooms being so expensive. Have fun on the bus!

Your coaches have a general schedule of all of the teams attending. We will be bringing mini prep 1, small youth 1, large junior 2, and small junior 3-all in the small gym division.

In terms of me doing a happy dance, all MD Twisters teams are coming... :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:
