That’s my girl! Still can’t believe it. 24 hours on a bus round trip to do majors and also come back home to compete at a very important charity competition in Charlotte in the same weekend, but I would not trade the experience or the people on the journey with us for anything. My 13 year old is a 2019 Majors champ!

And yes- there was atleast one more.. @quitthedrama ‘s amazing, amazing kiddo took home a win with her team AND a very exciting scholarship as well. So very thankful my daughter has hers to look up to as a role model.

You're so sweet! One of the best things about cheer is what happens off the mat! Our kids became friends at Woodward and I love that mine looks forward to seeing yours at competitions - and I love our group of Mamas and Papas that get together at comps as well. I have forever friends that I can laugh with, cry with and will be there long after cheer is gone. <3

I like including J5 at this event. I know there is always discussion re: how to recognize J5s outside of Summit (because they are doing same skills as the Worlds teams but do not attend Worlds) and this is a great idea. Hopefully they invite a few more next year.
