Your body knows what to do, muscle memory is key in any sport. Try not to think about the skill that you are doing think about other things outside of cheerleading. Good luck

Take your time is the best advice I can give anyone. If your head is thinking about more than the skill then you need to slow down, take your time and get to where you can JUST think about the skill. If you need to take a step back and just throw flip flop series then do that. If tucks is all you can throw, that's ok just throw a bunch, as YOU become more comfortable continue to progress. I think the number 1 prob with "mental blocks" is people keep trying to move ahead too fast. Everyone has a different speed and I'm sure before your injury it was say a "10" now maybe a "5" and work your way back up to a "10". I wish you the best of luck!

Great advise, mental blocks are caused by fast progression, slow down to avoid one. You will progress at a later time naturally when you get totally bored of throwing the same skills over and over.

Use progressions, starting with where it's easiest for you spotted/unspotted:
Trampoline
Tumble Trak
Cheese Mat
Rod Floor
Spring Floor

Once you get comfortable throwing it on one, just move onto the next (with spotting as needed of course!). You'll be working the right muscle memory, and eventually, you'll get your confidence back:) Congrats on having a tuck already, good luck and let us know how it goes:)

Just slow your mind down and build back up your confidence by doing what you know how to do. I broke my arm doing a bhs when I was younger and I went back the the tumble track and kept doing them until I felt comfortable doing it on the floor. I would also have your friends just keep telling you that you'll be fine. My friends wouldn't give up and I did it.

thank you everyone ! these tips will actually help so much !

and carlyy <3333 i love you more !
