The box in the upper right corner that says how many messages you have is there a way to check those or are they like how posts you have or something? I can't seem to check them, probably doing something wrong.

Pretty sure it just means the number of posts you've made.

ETA: It is. Mine says 6702. That's the number of posts I have.
