As I'm not going to Worlds this year (:(), I've fallen into quite the depression. And when I'm miserable, I usually tend to make sure EVERYONE knows it. (I know, I know... I'm working on it!) One of the things I've been whining to my Mom about over and over again is that, sure - as of now, I'm making plans to go to the 2012 Worlds - but, who knows if it will be even just half as amazing as this year's is shaping up to be! You've got Small Senior PACKED with talent, the defending champs Rays having won the last four years in a row and looking for a five-peat while they're literally neck-and-neck with Cali Senior Elite... and don't forget the highly successful CA Panthers moving down from Large Senior who are also a force to be reckoned with! And then you've got Large Senior also crammed with talent, CEA Senior Elite looking to repeat while WCSS is no doubt coming back with a vengeance after they were "de-throned" last year, and don't even get me started on the incredibly talented F5 who are well on their way to taking the gold this year as well... but don't forget about Woodlands Generals who are coming up from Small Senior this year! And then you've got Semi-Limited where the Unlimited World Champs TG have come down to and will battle out the reigning champs GA Louies for that title...
I could go on and on, can you tell? :p It really is going to be an incredible competition this year, though. SO MUCH is going to come down to what happens on the mat THAT DAY. So, so sad I won't be there to watch. :(
