So, I was thinking, maybe we can do some kind of a pool here with worlds predictions, similar to an NCAA bracket/pool. Someone can come up with a prize for the winner... But it has to be a really good prize, not like a pair of shoes or a t-shirt.

Personally, I would like the prize to be money lol... I don't know what the legalities are of doing something like that, maybe we all pay $10 to enter and do it like a 50/50.... half for the Fierceboard and half for the winner?

The winner would be the person who comes the closest to guessing the top 5 for every division... somehow factoring in how close you are to the correct order, extra points for picking the winner, etc.

What do you guys think? :)

There are a lot of laws that will be broken if money is involved, with the organizer being the most likely to get in real trouble.

That being said, I was thinking about how to do something similar before seeing your post. My plan was to pick the top 3 of each division in order. If the team you select for 1st gets it you get 5 points. If the team you select for 2nd gets 2nd you get 3 points, and if the team you select for 3rd gets 3rd you get 2 points. If any of the teams you select medal, but not in the place you select, you get 1 point for each. Highest total wins.

Plan B - Select 2 or 3 division with a limited number of teams that can realistically win and set up a grid like the Super Bowl score game. Let me know if you are familiar with that.

.

I love this idea. Is there anyway to make it so we can just add a thread where people copy and paste a form where they can write their predictions, post, and then after worlds, they count how many points they have, and if they think they've won, they post, and an admin can check their score. Or is their some sort of program we can use that will just figure out the winner for us once the results are out if we enter our predictions into it?

I can make a new ribbon for that one person. Or even put them in the banner like how those few gyms are right now. Maybe give them a Fierce Board email if they so want?

I'm all for the just for fun bracket. Next, how do we do this....
is someone going to create a webform?
