High School New High School Uniforms, Help!

I am a first time coach looking for some guidance. My girls badly want new uniforms, but there are two problems; one, we don't really have the funds and two, we really don't have the time. I mean we could get the normal in stock uniforms I see, but that's not what they want at all and I don't want to spend a few thousand dollars on something that doesn't look better than our current uniforms. So, what can I do to make them a little happy? I was a cheerleader for 12 years so I understand the excitement of getting new uniforms but I really don't think it's a possibility. We get our uniforms through Varsity. So is there anything I can have added on? or I just need some ideas! :)

CheerGinger Maybe a new body suit and top or just a new skirt or just a new top. One little improvement like that will give them a whole new look :) You could also get new bows, those always make me happy :)

What about getting a matching bodyliner to go underneath? They're cheaper than a whole new uniform, and give it a new look. You could also see if they would prefer getting hoodies and sweat pants instead.

Really? In Illinois, a bunch of the teams have bling on their uniforms. But then again, we don't compete UCA, so I guess it's okay in that sense?

One thing we do is we have matching body liners and a solid bodysuit too. This way the girls can alternate them every other game. We get new bows each year with us getting three this year. They are so much cheaper than new uniforms and we are limited to getting new uniforms every 5 years per our school policy. Last year to make my squad happy is we bought warmups ( a first for this school). I can't wait til next year when we can get new uniforms. Good luck

I'm getting them new bows & Poms. I like the idea of the matching body liner and solid one.
I'm trying to surprise them with new warm ups! So keep your fingers crossed I can make it happen & keep the good ideas coming :)

we got new bows this year (and new warm ups and a new uniform...) but the new bows add "bling" to our old uniforms.

our warm up jackets were also a step up compared to our old ones!
our new jackets are the ones on the bottom.

If you want to throw some bling into their wardrobe you should do it with warm ups!

What do you mean by you don't have the time? And you could always try fundraising for uniforms, and see if the school can pitch in a bit.

Tyler by not having time I mean, Regional competition is in less than a month, the if we would make it to the state competiton that is the following month. I just need something quick
and not terribly high priced to do for them!
