Don't give up! I would definitely get a parent involved. I don't understand why any school would hold someone back who is trying to better themselves and wants a challenge. If after a few weeks the teachers feel the classes are too much for you then you can drop down - it is a lot easier to do that than to try to move up to an AP class a few weeks into the semester. As long as you are eligible to take the classes (some school systems do not allow sophmores to take AP classes), then you should have your parents insist on it. Good luck

Technically sophomores can't unless they have an interview with the AP class teacher. I didn't really have that interview as he was clearly not interested, but thank you(:

Our first varsity game was tonight! We won. It rained and game was postponed 30 minutes. Probably because of lightning I think. Our student section (before it lightninged, including me) started jumping, throwing beach balls (Beach Night) screaming in the stands while it's poring raining. The freshmen, band, and parents did leave the stands though.

Typing this from my iPad that I got today... For free... For taking AP Courses granted I have to return it at the end of the year but still. Until then I've been told to "have fun with it, download your apps, games, etc just be responsible and make sure you're actually using it for classes too when you're supposed to" like okay I can do that!

UGH. Ok so my school got vandalized over night by the team we played tonight! Like when we pranked them a few years ago, we used spray chalk, and it washed away the next day. They used real spray paint and ruined sooo much stuff at our school...they complain because they think we're such a "rich school", and we have no control over the stuff our school has, because its a brand new school! It's been open since 2005,I mean really...our parking lots got repaved like two weeks ago and they spray painted "Vikings" all over, and trashed our football field, along with the hill our football team storms the field on, which normally has our school logo painted on it...and they sprayed on the senior gift that literally just got finished a month ago...seriously soooo disrespectful!! They also sprayed our spirit rock, which is fair game and happens in our county a lot, but that really would've been enough to make a statement! Now they're involving the police and they're going insane because they think it's no different from what our seniors did a few years ago...but our stuff was literally gone overnight...whereas people from the county power washed this crap all day long and it still didnt go away because uh...it's SPRAY PAINT!
I just have so much pride in my school and know we stand for such good morals and truly are a school with class. These kids just must have some sort of jealousy or something because nobody saw this coming!
And by the way...game against them tonight...they had ten kids in their student section lol. And it got rained out at the beginning of the second quarter, where we were winning 15-0.
Sorry this probably took up like an entire page but I'm just so angry!

Did you guys play N. Forsyth? That's terrible that they did that. I understand the rock (although we've had an incident where Davie put You don't want the D and that could be taken two ways) but they actually vandalized your school. I hope they can fix the stuff that is messed up.

Yep, we played north tonight. And they suddenly think we're rivals although they've never beaten us...our rivals are y'all and tabor! And I mean I can understand painting the rock--kids do it all the time. That's harmless, I mean it was meant to be painted. But they took it way too far!
Need I mention last year around the time we played them in basketball, they painted over our rock while it was standing as a memorial for a passed student. Like seriously north student have no class and are so ignorant!
And their athletic director came to the school earlier today and apologized to our principal...they've also contacted authorities and are going to find out who did it, because tax dollars had to pay for the people to clean it all up today! Absolutely ridiculous.

Exactly, even though we're rivals I doubt anyone at west would ever go that far. That's terrible. If someone had done that to our rock when we had #prayforryan though, someone would've flipped. North needs to teach their students some proper behavior.
On a side note... Our game tonight turned into the game last year when we played you guys. Our student section crazy as ever in the rain.
