The doctor thinks that I got mono from strep being untreated, which wouldn't surprise me because I get strep like it's going out of style...EVERY YEAR. :banghead: I do have a boyfriend but I doubt I got it from him lol.

Thank you!! My boyfriend is at work, and my friends are going to a party like 2 hours away from where I live, and I have no idea who's house they're staying at and I'm not comfortable drinking around people I don't know, plus, I'm still exhausted from having mono...booo

Why. Is. Car. Insurance. So. Expensive. OMG. Ive been trying to get quotes all day and now everyone is closed tomorrow for new years day and my dad won't buy me a car until he knows how much insurance is going to be and my moms insurance company raised the price of mine since I'm on my 3rd car (not wrecking and I've never filed my problems with them because they woulnt fix my transmission because I only have collision so I didn't even try..) I'm frustrated and I just want a car. UGH AGSHJRBRJNRHGEINFJJD

Trust me, waiting for a car that is in good condition is better than just settling with a POS. I waited a year and a half before I got my 2004 focus, which we had to sell 2 years later because it had major transmission problems, and it wasn't worth putting all that money in a car that was crap anyways, so we sold it. If I could go back in time, I would sooo have waited to find a better and more reliable car than just settling because I wanted a car. Just some advice :)

Sooo I currently have ZERO NYE plans because I'm whining; because one friend wants me to come to her house which would turn into her loudly telling everyone how I'm the greatest person ever and she can't wait to live with me (A-Duh I'm awesome B-Your love for me is starting to border on obsession, keep it down). The other involves me going to a Dr Who themed bar. I'm not a Dr. Who fan. I know nothing about it. I'm going to be the ONLY non-sci-fi-geek in a room full of them. And it's like 2 hours away. In Brooklyn. And I sure as heck AIN'T staying in Brooklyn tonight. Pretty much the only reason we're going is because my former roommate is staying with her awful boytoy (that she insists she doesn't like) who lives in Brooklyn, and she likes Dr Who. But I'm selfish and want to meet people at a place closer to where I live. Actually, BOTH of those plans involve Brooklyn. I kinda wish I'd gotten scheduled to work now, as at least then I'd be making money.

Omg my '07 focus had transmission problems too! So we sold it. And then we got an '04 and had more transmission problems and my window was broken so we sold it. I'm looking at an 02 bug that only has 80,000 miles on it and my dads friend who's a mechanic said its in really good shape so hopefully ill get it. And ill be done with cars for awhile:p

One of my 11 year old brothers got mono, and goodness knows HE'S not kissing anyone. It went around the middle school, everyone had it...... how? I don't really know.

My mom gave me her lexus SUV, and its in the shop for transmission problems...but it does have almost 200,000 miles on it and is 10 years old, but I love it with all my heart! lol

Ugh I looked at a Lexus SUV a couple of weeks ago and loved it but the guy would just not come down on his unreasonable price... And I've always wanted a bug. Always. If I get this my heart will be so happy.

That's great! :) My mom begged me to get one, but I like more roomy cars, even though I hardly use my back seat....oh well! :rolleyes:

So here I am on New year's eve sitting at home with my parents, and not because i have mono like the rest of you :p . So why you might ask, but probably won't, well because I have no friends. Kidding, sort of...but most of my friends like to do bad, illegal things and that's just not my thing.
