Haha! When I was in high school, I got up early and did my hair and makeup. I wouldn't have been caught dead without it. When I went to college, you could immediately spot the Freshmen by who was dressed a little bit better and who had themselves groomed well from the neck up. It literally took me one semester before I decided an extra thirty to forty five minutes of sleep were better than looking perfect. I ended up in the sweatpants and pony tail club, which was so much easier! Good luck in college!

I notice that too! It's my first semester in college and I use to get up soo early to shower do my hair and everything then a month later I said forget this and now wake up barely 20mins before I leave haha. But it is so worth it to be comfy then trying to impress others.

awkward moment when i still do this and im in 2nd year of uni. ... haha i dont know what it is i just feel so awkward wearing sweats in public the most dress down i will ever do is baggy sweater leggings and boots (with my giant purse and makeup)

That awkward moment when I dont own any sweat pants.
Like seriously. I have yoga pants. Thats it. Im not sure why I dont but it needs to chagne before next year when I go off to actual college and stop caring. haha

I use to wear soffes under jeans when I had class before practice. I could definitely do it with nike pros.

... So I took the day off from work today (well working from home, but whatever) because I had a doctor's appointment today - I've been having some pain in my lower abdomen on and off for the past week, I think it's my ovary. So I called on Friday and made the appointment and they asked if I could come in then, but I couldn't because I had a dentist appointment. So I go in today and they tell me my appointment is next monday. Usually I would chalk it up to my mistake, but why would I call and say I'm having pain in my abdomen and then wait a whole week?

Her solution was to call tomorrow morning at 9 to get a sick appointment. I didn't realize you could only make same day sick appointments, but I'm already at work in the city by 9 am. I can't just go to the doctor on my lunch break, and I can't take more time off from work. So now I guess I have to wait a week. The pain's not awful, and it's really probably nothing, but it's still really annoying. If she had said the appointment was next week and that I could have called this morning to try and get a sick appointment, I would have done that. But to just be like well we can't do anything - can you wait a week? is really annoying.

Nothing bugs me more than people thinking "lip singing" is the term. It's lip SYNCING. Saying "lip singing" is like saying "feet walking", it's not the term.
Hahahahaha!!! I've always wanted to say that! You don't sing with your lips!!! LOL!

To all my cat ladies...

I think at this point I'd just hit the local urgent care and get seen. Abdominal pain is something that shouldn't wait. You're right, it's probably nothing, but it's not worth risking it if it is. Take care!

You're right, I probably should - but "pain" is probably a stronger word than what it really is, and it's actually not really bothering me today (funny how that works when you think you have an appointment). I'm going to try on Wednesday I think to get a sick appointment since its the day before thanksgiving and a joke day at work.

If it actually was really hurting me and I was really uncomfortable I would definitely go to urgent care. As it stands it's this cramp feeling in my side that has come and go for the past week, but most of the time it doesn't really hurt.

I have this really ridiculous fear of wasting a doctor's time if it's nothing, so the though of going to urgent care stresses me out more than waiting for monday haha. Of course - asking to work from home after a 4-day weekend isn't really that great of a prospect either.

If Ibuprofen makes it feel better, you're probably okay to wait, but still...
No doctor who has any kind of sense at all would think you were "wasting their time" with abdominal pain, regardless what the cause ends up to be. It's their job to take care of you...not the other way around. If it's still bothering you on Wednesday, go see the doctor!!! Bless. :)

I hate facebook chat. If I log on real quick to send something to someone (and then forget to log off) all these random people from my old high school or that go to college with me that I don't really know to well decide to chat me. I don't get it. Like I didn't even talk to these people in high school...This doesn't have much to do with anything but I just had to vent about it.
