Dear Newbies:
Coming on to a major thread and using the phrase 'end of discussion' or 'stop talking about this' does NOT make you authoritative or put you in a position of power. It just makes you annoying, presumptive, and look like an idiot. It's a message board. We discuss things until we're done discussing things and then we'll rehash it a few months later. That's how we do..we talk.

Also, don't come onto a thread and post insulting things and then say 'Well, if you don't like my opinion, leave.' Uh no, we were here first. Be respectful or suffer the consequences.

Also also- just because it's your 'opinion', doesn't mean it's correct. Your opinion can still be wrong, or make you look like a fool. :p

My biggest issue with newbies, and I remember I explained this really thoroughly on a thread a while ago, is they feel as though the way to act on this sight is disrespectful. Those of us that have been here for a while (I think I signed up in 2008?) have established our position here, and our personalities. It's like we're all on The Real World. We'll have our clashes, we'll disagree, but at the end of the day we have a respect for each other (however minimal). If you've ever watched Real World, Bad Girls Club, any of those shows, you've seen what happens when a new, strong personality comes in. It doesn't work. Everyone needs to do their time, and newbies somehow feel like they don't, because the rest of us are rude b**ches.

Do you have to like seriously diet with insanity? I know you can't eat ridiculously but I'm not good with super strict diets lol.

I believe there's a meal plan normally included (not included in what I was sent), but one of my coaches is a nutritionist and I talked to her about it and she said for the fastest results, a strict diet is essential, but she knows how difficult habits are to break and basically just told me to make sure I'm getting the things my body needs/is recommended, but after that having a snack, drinking a bit of pop/juice, etc., isn't absolutely terrible.

Could I pm for the link as well?

Life has a social hierarchy, much like animals. Learned that from Life of Pi..

But seriously, establishing yourself on the boards can be relatively pain-free and drama-free. I'm not saying you should weep over getting our approval, but we are almost our own society. Every society has rules, customs, social hierarchy, established behaviors, etc. It's like going abroad and being a tacky American, and then getting mad when people treat you with distrust and dismissal. NO, just no.

Oops I just added the nutrition stuff to the folder.

Not sure if anybody has heard it (or cares) but the new Paramore song is soooo good!
