sooo.. summing up my week for y'all.
-thursday after school me and my best friend went to lunch and i followed her there. well there was this old lady infront of us driving like 10 mph (the speed limit was 55) and swerving all over the place.. we went through a light and the old lady was driving so slow it turned red when i wasnt even in the middle. im absolutely terrified i'm going to get a red light ticket...
-WE GOT OUT OF SCHOOL FRIDAY! well, there was an ice storm, so i ended up being stuck at home, but still, it was nice.
-My mom bought tickets this morning to the Zac Brown Band concert for tomorrow and I was REALLY excited because I asked for them for Christmas and then she said "Oh I bought them for me and Phil... but you can go if he doesn't want to because of work or something" Okay there's like a 98% chance he wont turn them down and I'm sad now. :(
- 7 AM IS THE DUMBEST IDEA I'VE EVER HAD. I'm not a morning person-at all. And some mornings I don't end up getting out of bed until 6:30 and i have to leave my house by 6:45. But I just love my teacher so it's okay. and I get out at 1:30 or 2.
-My paycheck was more than $30 this week. GO MEEE!
-Applied for my passport and turned in my money securing my spot on the mission trip to Jamaica!!!!!!!:D

I know a lot of people are not exactly anonymous on here, but I hope someday everyone comes out and says their age. Because sometimes I think a poster is 14, and then I read they are a parent, and I get so confused. And some people act so silly that I think knowing their age would help me understand the nonsense.
Edit: Under everyone's picture it should say "cheerleader" "parent" "coach" or "fan." That would help people like me that just sit here scratching their heads in confusion. Not that this needs to happen, it's just my brain talking out loud because I feel like I'm taking crazy pills on this board sometimes...

Great idea! I'm in my early 30s, i'm a cheerleader, a coach and, most important, a cheer mom (Too long for adding it under my picture i guess).
And i feel you about thr crazy pills sometimes, but not just at the boards.
When i'm telling the same things over and over again at practises i think i'm talking some foreign, out of space language :-D Then i wonder if it's me or the kids.
But having to work, raise two kids without a dad and coaching two teams - i guess it's me ;-)
Yesterday at practise a youth girl showed me a little bruise on her hand and told me she had to "be carefull".
I showed her my stitches (i had surgery on thursday) and said: I'm here, so go and do your job. She was a little bit scared. Yes, i feel bad :-)

No, sometimes I wish people would list their ages..or age range. Like under 18, 20-25, 25-30, 30+. Granted, age doesn't always indicate anything.. :D
ETA: I start my new job today and I'm a LITTLE nervous. It's a completely different place than I've ever worked before, and I've been out of work for two weeks so my brain is kinda out of the groove. I'm glad to have some structure back in my life, though.

I'm a 30 something...pushing 40...year old cheer Mom. My daughter is the CP & I have 6 year old identical twin boys. My CP had a back injury last summer and I Googled it, several links to Fierceboard threads popped up and that's how I got here! I love that there's lots of info for a Mom who was mostly clueless about cheer. I am fierceboard enlightened now!
Oh, as far as the crazy pills go I think anyone involved in All Star cheer needs those...or is it just me???

No, it's not just you :-D I watched CHEER because i had to stay at bed two days and the moms were talking about prozac :-D So obviously they need some crazy pills with cp's on a L5 team :-D

GRR. people annoy me. Were they not taught when they were little not to talk about birthday parties, etc, around people because other people may not be invited???? I've seriously had those awkward moments when people talk to me about my birthday party when I'm in a group of people who aren't all invited multiple times this week. Seems like common sense!
