I just turned in a six page essay on the differences between The Prisoner Of Azkaban book and the movie...I'm a shameless Potterhead.


@AliciaM I am so sorry for all of the stress. I would lose it on that girl! Sadly cancer seems to attack the ones least deserving of it:/ prayers to you and your family! Stay as strong as you can for her, the more positivity she feels from everyone the better!

Yep. I only had like the first four, and on Black Friday last year found all of them for two bucks each.

The guy I'm dating has never read HP and hasn't seen all the movies either. I am obsessed. I have "too much" (never enough) potter paraphernalia, have gone to HP at universal and am going to England to the Warner bros studio next year! I consider any item of HP whether cheap or small to be a win in my book lol

Needless to say I already have started watching the HP movies with the guys I'm seeing...he needs to understand my "obsession" lol

On another note I am beyond overwhelmed with my life right now and my mom and her cancer. She has surgery on nov 10th and I just feel so stressed. I don't like her seeing me cry so I do it when I'm not home or when I go to bed. Some girl my mom knows through her friend told my mom that deserves it and that its karma coming to bite her in the booty. This girl is lucky I'll never see her because her karma would be a punch in the mouth and I'm usually a non violent person. No one deserves cancer.

DH has only read the first and part of the second but he's seen all of the movies and at least appreciates it. Not as much as me though lol. Do you know your Pottermore or HEX house?


And omg about that girl. That is a horrible thing to think and say. I am so sorry about your mom. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers!

Thank you! We can use all the prayers right now. My mom is scared and beyond overwhelmed since it's not the only thing she's dealing with but the most pressing obviously. I was disgusted when she told me what that woman said. Who says that?!

Not sure what HEX is? But I'm on pottermore and I'm in Gryffindor :)

It's the closest thing we have to going to Hogwarts right now. You enroll as a student, get sorted and then have a forum for your common room, can take classes and buy virtual magical items.

Thanks, I'm definitely trying! It's mostly my type 1 that I have to keep in check. My averages are still pretty good and have only gone up a tiny bit and not anything concerning. I also have a very supportive gym family and friends :)

I couldn't sleep all night so I was on the website. I did the sorting :) I'll let ya know! Haha I'm Gryffindor on pottermore so I'll see if it's the same on Hex. I need more distractions with all the chaos in my life right now! Thanks for letting me know about the website.
