Almost as bad as the incoming 9th graders coming up from the middle school building with tattoos.
Real ones. That their parents signed for them to get.
Not my kid. Not my problem. - me every day

Ah I see. Well, you have to remember that you will be living with these people, so if you know there will be major issues (allergies are major) than make it clear now that living with that person won't person. If you have to go it alone, than do it. If you don't mind me asking, what is your budget? My last studio was 610 (minus electricity, wifi and cable.) But, I've seen studios for as low as 400 per month. It also depends on the area. And yes, having only a week is stressful, but that's also the best time to look at CraigsList. People who post their "for-rents" are usually looking for immediate move ins.
Are you sure she was young and not just a small flyer? There were children at Stuntfest back in 2005 when I was there
I even saw what appeared to be an 8 year old with her belly button pierced.
Are you sure she was young and not just a small flyer?
Since I will only be living up there if I get a job, I'm not sure of how much I can afford. I'm hoping that if I have to go in alone itd be no more than 700, and hopefully close enough to my job that I could just walk. However one of my friends just told me that her lease is 6 months so I have no clue if that was a hint saying that she is interested in living with me?
She said a little bit later that she's ok with having a roommate so it sounds like we are. Where I live now we had to buy all of our cleaning supplies, paper things, and toiletries so I don't see the price of that changing much. I also already have all of my bedroom furniture and she has living room furniture/kitchen table so it doesn't sound like I'd have to buy too much in terms of furniture.Sounds like a hint to me!
Just a heads up, utilities and other expenses add up, things that you have to buy when you rent instead of when you're in a dorm or a shared area. You're apartment might include heat, gas and electric, but chances are you'll have to pay at least 1 or 2. My roommate and I have to pay gas and electric and it's about 50$ per person/month. Cable and wifi is 130 total/month. You'll also need to remember that you'll be buying cleaning supplies, paper products, toiletries etc which I found add up quicker than I was expecting. I don't want to freak you out! Just making sure you're prepared. :)
Some landlords are willing to negotiate their price. If you see a place that is 720$ per month that you love, you can let the landlord know that you would move in but the price is too high and that you'll think about it. They might drop it for you!
After years of having to search for apartments, there are a few things I learned. Not sure if they will help but: A.) Location matters. Make sure you rent near to what you need. Look for public transportation, grocery stores, and convenience items.( i.e. Laundry) You can also check online, or call the local PD for crime statistics in a neighborhood. B.) don't rent out of your price range, it really sucks to have to scramble for rent every month. C.) make sure you ask what is included in rent, the landlord usually can also tell you about how much other things cost as well. Electricity, cable/internet/water/garbage etc. D.) look for storage in the apartment, does it have a pantry, linen closet, enough cupboard space. Will you have to pay for outside storage or garage if you need it? E.) check to make sure there are enough outlets... Some older places don't have enough plugs for modern day life, and an overload can be expensive or dangerous. She said a little bit later that she's ok with having a roommate so it sounds like we are. .....yes.
At the time there was an all star competition that took place the Saturday after NCA either at the same venue or nearby. Children were everywhere and that child with her mom was clearly a child
I know that but, which one is "harder" or are they equally as "hard?Level 4.2 has level 4 stunting and level 2 tumbling. Level 3 has level 3 stunting and level 3 tumbling.
It depends on your skill set. If you don't have level 3 tumbling, that is harder. If you have trouble with higher level stunting 4.2 is harder.I know that but, which one is "harder" or are they equally as "hard?
4.2 is going away?It depends on your skill set. If you don't have level 3 tumbling, that is harder. If you have trouble with higher level stunting 4.2 is harder.
Since appears as though 4.2 is going away, it is a moot point.

I have never been but is the atmosphere that bad where a younger kid shouldn't be there with supervision?I remember that competition. It always confused my why anyone at NCA thought that would be a good idea...

Ahhhh. I guess it is up to each parent on how they want to do it. Maybe 8-10 is s bit young but I may have taken cp if early teens. I don't know.Saturday is a huge party. Stunt fest/drinking/etc. Most teams don't leave until Sunday and the competition is over so it's a huge party on the beach.
