Ugh. So I'm a Junior this year and the big thing junior year is the scholarly paper, which is a giant research paper that is required to graduate. I've already given up on two topics (Should cheerleading have stricter rules to be less dangerous? and Should band be required for students to take?) and I'm all out of ideas. It has to be a question that can have two sides, and can't be cliche or too controversial (gun control/abortion aren't allowed).

Anyone got any unique ideas? It'd be cool to do something related to cheer, band or women's rights or something like that, but I'm completely out of ideas right now...
I did my big research paper in high school on music in schools. How it affected test scores, GPAs, monetary cost etc. it wasn't super great with finding sources, but we didn't have access to any databases so that probably contributed.

I can totally see someone spelling it like that in this day and age. LMAO.

Just remember this was only a few years back when I was still in school

What was your argument against music in school, The cost of running such programs?

Hmmmm unique? What about "should pets (other than fish) be allowed in college dorm buildings?"

It's a simple enough topic to comprehend, it relates to your age, isn't too controversial, and you get to read about puppies and kitties and cute fluffy creatures. I feel like there'd be some good points to bring up for both sides!

Is there anywhere you can watch all of the old Degrassis online? I want to rewatch them all but I haven't had any luck finding them on free websites or anything.

The original series was on Hulu last time I checked (long ago). I'd like to know where to find Next Generation, I stated watching it on Amazon Prime and then they took it off.

He went back to teaching after a while.

Did they cut any part of the abortion episode with the twins out, or did they air it in all its creepy glory? The old woman holding up a plastic model of a fetus as they entered the clinic still creeps me out.
I know I watched that episode online as well so I saw the whole thing. I don't remember though if they actually aired it on PBS in the states as it originally aired in Canada. It was a raw episode that's for sure.

I remember rewatching some of the earlier seasons of TNG on Netflix but they took those all off a few years ago.
