Why did phone calls go out?Yeah, I sat outside on the balcony of my sorority house until like 3am with my phone on mute just listening. Really, really interesting discussion.

There was a big (huge, actually) conference call with industry leaders, coaches and owners to discuss the sudden changes and how they were brought about. The number was released publicly so several hundred people called in to listen, while dozens gave input. Why did phone calls go out?
I love that, it sounds so grassroots. There was a big (huge, actually) conference call with industry leaders, coaches and owners to discuss the sudden changes and how they were brought about. The number was released publicly so several hundred people called in to listen, while dozens gave input.
I believe it was primarily organized by Randy Dickey and Courtney Smith-Pope, and it laid the basis for what would eventually become ASGA.
Sounds like it was. And I missed it!That week was *peak* CSP.
Priorities. The whole no more half tops rule was also released. I remember people being more concerned about that than restricting tumbling.

I'm sure he was on the call and he probably got involved in the early stages. Randy and Tate have a pretty long standing history (Tate cheered at South Carolina) and I'm sure he's close with CSP as well.
Haha my Facebook status read "I officially hate usasf" lolI just wanted to remind everyone that this day four years ago, the cheerleading world fell apart. Go back and look at your timehop. I know my tweets were hilarious. Here's my favorite one.

Also you didn't step in cat vomit so that's a good thing!Stepped in a puddle of what I thought was cat vomit this morning. Turns out the faucet in my kitchen has a crack in it, and the puddle was water. On the bright side, the cupboard under the sink has never been cleaner.
