So I'm kinda annoyed and just need to vent. Back in October I designed four shirts for a gym and they were gonna pay me (yay), so I sent the PayPal invoice and I never got the money. Fine whatever, so I send an email around thanksgiving and I'm like "hey I still haven't got paid blah blah" and she's real nice all "sorry, I'll make sure it happens asap" great, perfect. So fast forward to now, about a month later and I STILL haven't gotten paid. I emailed her again Monday but no response yet. And I don't want to like annoy her with more emails, but I just want to finally get paid! It's been two months since I sent the original invoice. So frustrating!! Okay, rant over. I feel better now.

I feel you! I made the bows for my cps' high school team. The coach collected the money and then was waiting for checks to clear.

She stuck a folded up check in my pocket when I was working at a middle school jamboree. I don't know what happened to it after that. I looked for it and couldn't find it. I told her what happened a bit later because I wanted to make sure someone else didn't take it and deposit it.

She was supposed to bring one another day. Then, she was going to give it to my cp at school. Next, she was going to bring it to my dh at the office…

Now, she quit coaching, is off work for medical reasons, and my dh switched jobs.

She used to text me all the time about her and everyone in her family's medical issues. Both she and her dh would text my husband about all their medical concerns. Now, we hear nothing.

I want my 450 dollars!

I hope we both get money soon!

$450?! Yikes! I'd want that too! Mine's only $100 but when you're a poor college kid that's a lot haha

RANT: So when my neighbors first moved in, I thought it was adorable that they had a cat that looked kinda like mine. I even thought it was adorable that she had just had two kittens. I didn't think it was adorable when my neighbors realized I kept food out for my own three cats, so they didn't have to feed theirs bc they could just come eat mine. Now, their mama cat has two more babies, and is looking like there is another litter on the way. I understand their kids think baby cats are cute and fun when they're little, but the thing about pets is, they grow to be adults and that cute newness wears off. But you still have to take care of them. Pet overpopulation (not sure there's a better way to say that) is already a huge problem in my town because people won't get their freaking animals fixed. (I understand some people find that morally wrong, but IMO if you can't financially support kittens/puppies/whatever, it's your responsibility to prevent them) But they don't care, because it's not like they feed them. I don't know where mama cat's babies are coming from because my cats are all spayed/neutered. Is it completely out of line for me to tell them (in the nicest way possible, I guess) that they either start feeding mama cat and her many offspring, or I will finance mama cat's spaying?

Instead of financing the mama cats spaying, why don't you threaten to call animal control? Maybe that'd be better because that's more of a threat.

Thanks! I'll be abroad for a little over four months so I'm hoping to fit as much as possible between a checked bag and a duffel bag. I'm hoping it wont be too bad since I'm buying all of my bathroom items over there so I don't waste space.
have thought about buying those Space Bags? The ones that save space by vacuuming out the air. There are travel ones that don't need a vacuum. You just roll it up and the air goes out. Might save a lot of space.

I think mine were a different brand but these are actually a really good idea. I used them for staffing camps in the summer and it really helped me to pack more efficiently!

I'm more worried about weight than anything else. Wouldn't the bags weigh the same?
ugh, yes the weight is such a pain. If you're worried about the weight maybe put more in your carry on duffle bag. But still put some in the checked bag. And if it weighs to much when you check in just move stuff over to the duffle. You can also weigh it before at home.

You won't actually need to bring much more than you would on a 2 week vacation. If you're only here for 4 months from January, it's going to be cold, especially in Wales. You won't need lots of cute dresses and skirts etc. jeans are your biggest friend! I packed and lived out of a suitcase in Rwanda for a year and didn't actually wear everything I took. If you want any packing advice just let me know, I've got it down to a bit of a fine art - take the basics and then buy accessories if and when you need them.
