Don't make kool-aid when you're overtired, friends. Or at least make sure your salt container isn't a smaller version of your sugar container.

For a few seconds I legitimately thought this was Fierceboard speak for not posting about your favorite team when you're mad about them losing....

That's also good advice. [emoji6]

I'm just glad I had a second package of the flavour, since blue raspberry lemonade kool aid isn't available in Canada.

Set phasers to 'love me'!

In other depressing news about my life, I've been an alternate for two months today. That's around 25 practices, give or take a few.

Honestly I'm so close to giving up. I'm so tired of putting in so much work for nothing in return. :/

Girl been there! I did it for 5 months so I know it super sucks! I got ready for every comp and then only got to watch. I finally gave up because I was so beyond trying to deal with it. I knew everyone's part to the dance and every part of the routine. It was brutal.

It's always nice to hear that others have been through it. It makes me feel less inadequate. I can't believe it's only been two months, it feels like an eternity. I get my hopes up for every practice and it's getting exhausting.

Try having two alternates and then the other getting to compete instead of you lol but I get it I couldn't do the position since it was back spotting and I'm way too short so it was understandable even if it sucked. Can you at least be an alternate and cross over to another team?

Omg I can't even imagine. I would dissolve. We originally had like seven alternates and it's just me and one other girl now.

Well at least it ups your chances but still stinks. I'd ask to crossover to another team if you can so at least you can be used somewhere and then still be an alternate.

I'm too old. Our gym is really far from the other pcm gyms and were the only international team in our gym. It's just a crap situation.

On the positive side, it's given me more unstructured practice time to work on tumbling and I've improved a lot so that's cool.

Oh that stinks that there isn't even a regular open team. But you're right at least your tumbling has improved. I used to do that during practice too lol

I'm not sure whether I should play basketball or lacrosse this year. I can't do both.

I'm quite good at basketball, but the longest I've been on a team was for a month. I had to quit because of schedule clashes :(. And then if I do get into basketball, I have to worry about taking the bus back home after games. I'm meh at lacrosse, only played it in P.E and I improved after a few lessons, so that's a good sign. Plus some of my friends are doing lacrosse this year so I'll have moral support. And one of my friends who is going to play lacrosse lives close to me, so I can carpool.

My mom says that I should try out for lacrosse and see if I get in, but she says ultimately the choice is mine.

I. Cannot. Choose.:banghead:

Eek, I've been there. Although lets just say the consumption of alcohol was involved. I'm glad to hear you had another one - blue raspberry lemonade kool aide is the bomb!

Ugh I've been there!! It totally sucks, I'm sorry about that. Hopefully things turn around and you get put in!
