Why would you just post once and stop when you have to post three times to get the clock started?

The Please Read thread says 72 hrs from time of registration but I always thought was from the 3rd post as well.

Wanna know a secret? It's actually 48 hours because all the emails I get swear up and down theyve been registered for 72 hours and they still haven't gotten it. They're all liars. :)

Is there any way you can cut and paste these? It can be a locked thread and you don't have to identify the user, but I think it might be worth a chuckle.
