All-Star Official Dedicated Day To A Team?

this is my first year doing all star cheerleading... so i dont know what is common or unusual. i was looking at my gym's website, and i came across a document that states that april 3 is elite cheer stars day in nebraska and is signed by the governor.

it's really old i guess, all the way from 2008, but still I found it cool/strange.

do any other teams or gyms have a day dedicated to them? what day? what is the point? (not to sound rude, jw).

..I know some day is 'Southington Boys Volleyball Day' in my town because my bro's team won States for the first time two years ago. Don't know of any other days for cheerleaders, but I also know when a kid I went to school with completed his Eagle Scout project (or whatever that is), December somethingth is Alex Whitney Day.

My town has Liberty Varsity Cheerleader day on December 19th in honor of our three time state championship that we won last year.

May 4 is National CheerForce day.... Well its Star Wars day but its basically the same thing haha

I'll email Anderson Cooper and have him to intergrate Cat Week. Then it'll spread like wild fire! But it will never be as great as Shark Week, so no worries(:
