Opinions On Younger Fliers On Older Teams

We come from a gym where teams are formed strictly based on age. I used to agree...not quite as sure anymore though

I'm really on the fence. Sometimes it just looks weird, but sometimes it clearly works. I think if they are going to be in there flying they better be able to hang for the entire routine.

I'll say the same that I've said before - I agree with SachaaFiercee , if they have the skills, fine. I understand that a 7-year-old on a senior team might not be as visually pleasing as an older flyer, but I think it comes down more to what you see, rather than age. My cp is one of the youngest on her team, but looks like a high-school-aged flyer, and I think she looks pretty good. I'm not biased, though.

I've been out of all stars for a while
Now but went to a comp this weekend there was a coed sr
Team with itty bitty girls flying I'm talking like grown teenage
Boys that looked like men stunting girls who came to barely their waists. Were they good - def. But I'm not gonna lie it was strange to see the age difference and slightly less of a wow factor considering the fliers were prob 40lbs soaking wet.

What is the age cap now a days? I can see maybe one or even two just small for their age but they looked soo young in their faces too.
