they should enforce this rule next year. i wish deductions were more heavy in general at worlds.

Ive gotten this comment before. Sometimes, you cant stop the momentum from the pass.
Yes you can. I do agree that this sucks for those that were deducted but this is not a NEW rule. Some competitions give stiffer penalties than others but I think controlling your landing after you tumble SHOULD be MORE strict, and staying within the lines SHOULD be required. (Anybody remember OLD CanAm days where you could start as far off the floor as you wanted!?) Idk if it should be a deduction to land sloppy but it should def be in execution, why wouldn't you get docked if you can't land correctly? It's like doing a double down with your legs apart.

Im certain that there are many people who just have so much momentum and adrenaline that they over do it and wind up taking a step or two back. Am I saying its impossible to land perfectly? Not at all. Just because you take that step doesnt mean its sloppy. They could have just thrown that awesome double full, landed it and took those steps to the crowd, gave a fist pump, and it would have been deducted in some cases.... So, again, not saying its impossible. Just saying momentum happens.
