I was hoping for something more drama-filled, like "the dancers were trying to interrupt our segment of the routine" or vice versa, dancers "accidentally" knocking down stunts or something.

But if a school's dance and cheer teams are small enough, this could work.

She could try something like the UCA&UDA/NCA&NDA annual combined routines.

We did this once. Turned out great. The dance coach is awesome, and we've known each other / worked with each other for years. The kids loved it!
