We met this young woman at CheerSport this year. She is just the cutest and nicest young lady. I was standing outside a bathroom waiting for the wife and Maddie, and she walked up to me with with a group of her teamates in tow and asked if I was Maddie's dad (my ID says that) and if she was in the bathroom. I said yes and she says "I am going in and getting her, we want to meet her". I said, well, now maybe give her a minute and she'll be right out, nature calls and she is changing clothes. So she waited and we talked for a minute. Just so full of personality. We are praying for her recovery, she seems to be a very special person. Maddie and Sarah told me about this today, and I remembered her. She is one of those people that seemed to not let anything keep her from getting where she wanted to go. Godspeed Alyssa.
