All-Star Posting Other Gyms Videos

So I may be out of line and I may be starting drama but I have to ask why would someone post videos from a gym they have left when people affiliated with that gym are not posting the videos? Is it some kind of race that I know nothing about to rush and post videos first? Or is there something I am missing and this is ok? I really am not trying to start drama just asking.

I don't understand why people get so upset about this, unless someone does it with malicious intent and has rude/inappropriate commentary. Aren't most comp videos posted online by EPs? Why the big deal if Joe Schmoe liked your program enough to post it on Youtube.

I guess the reason I am upset is because videos were posted by a former athlete of our program and this said former athlete left the wrong way and I do not believe that said athlete has the best interests of our gym in mind by posting.

Did the athelete post/say anything derogatory in the video or it's description? If not, then 95% of the people who see by searching ______ competition will be watching it just to watch.

Not that I can see but I just don't trust this athlete

Well, no one will know the intent of the videos poster unless people at your gym get on and cause a ruckus so don't worry. It's the begining of the season, so anything she has to say will probably be inaccurate in a couple weeks of practice :)

Take it as a compliment. Your gym is obviously still forefront of their thoughts. The rest of the world watches the vids just to see how teams are performing. Most of us just watch to enjoy.

If its a bad performance and someone from another gym posts the video to make fun of that team then I would be mad. Otherwise I wouldn't mind.
