All-Star Programs/applications To Pratice Cheer Music (mac)

Does anyone know any decent programs that are mac compatible to practice making cheer music?

I downloaded "Virtual DJ Home" but I wanted to see if there were better options.

Abelton Live is written for Mac (and PC as well) and very capable of creating good cheerleading music. Sony Acid Pro for PC is the industry standard and the best choice all-around, but if you are restricting yourself to Mac only, then Abelton is our recommendation.

I am locking this thread. The music section had to be suspended because it was getting a bit out of hand. When it opens back up please ask this again in there.
