It appears shooting stars worlds mix is out?

I havent heard this version before. It appears the only thing that has changed is during the running doubles. I'm not sure if this is an unused version, or the redone version for worlds

This might be a dumb question/observation but their music doesn't seem to have a distinct "theme" this year like it has in the past? (At least not to me) compared to last years "Latin flavor", 2009 the whole "One" concept, the 08 glamor theme in the intro and dance (favorite dance music by the way). What would you say it is this year? I kinda picked up on a survivor/redemption type thing but it wasn't as noticeable as the other years IMO.

Still great music though, don't get me wrong

Elaine selects music for shooting stars more on a "what it sounds like" basis and what it means. She tries to give you a certain feeling while you watch it and is more for the judges rather than spectators.

After they got the "I Will Survive" stunt, I've never seen them jump to "With This Ring Let Me Go." I first heard the mix about a month ago, and since they never performed to it I just assumed it was unused, like the other one in the beginning of the year.

Looks like they replaced "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars with Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive".

They did that a while ago, before a few weeks before Dallas. The only change I can hear is the rippled doubles, which I like alot better!

I think those themes are a bit of a stretch. The Latin Flavor is the only theme that is apparent when you listen.

I'll have to go back and relisten to it and think about all the songs. I have every stars mix since 2000.

True story. I just heard the change in the synced double section and knew they worked on that section at practice.
