When 2 out of 25 teams do a theme, its not really that many.

this music mix for SS is sooo underwhealming :-( i used to really like the bruno mars stunt and the pyramid song makes me want to cry (not in a good way) BUT i do still like the openning and jumps! so they left something for me to look forward to!

stars had a latin theme and a glamor theme one year but thats it. rich is rite worldcup trys to stay away from themes. i cheered there for years.

At the beginning of the year it some what seemed like the theme was "back" but now it seems like "survive".

Looks like they replaced "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars with Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive".

I like all the changes except I still am not a big fan of the change in the pyramid song. Something about the first one just fit the entire routine so much better.

I always felt that this year's "theme" (if you want to call it) was World(s). It seemed like every other song in their routine had the word "world" mentioned.

I agree. I have seen them a couple of times this season, and I didn't remember anything about the music. But, we don't cheer to make memorable music, right? Those girls could perform to an organ grinder and still make it exciting lol
But, yes, they need something more FIERCE!

Their original mix was the first WCSS mix I've liked in YEARS. This one isn't bad. Bruno Mars really made it for me though.
