This is how I cut them.
Ive never had any spandex fabric fray on me, but what I do is take a wood burner and run it lightly along the sides of each layer before they are fused together. It gives it a little bit of an extra seal. And if it a material that frays, then it stops it from fraying.

Well i'm glad that i could have help, it looks great!Thanks! I used fabric and cut it with a machine I got. I have to iron the fabric onto a fusible web, which just makes it hard and not bunch up.
