I noticed on the block party thread that StarshipTrooper mentioned that it was his last post on the boards, and I just figured I would draw a little attention to it. Whether or not you're a member of the teal army, you can appreciate his commitment to his gym, his daughter, and his coaching staff. So, "Maddie's Dad", you will be missed. Good luck to your cp next year. It's been a joy to watch her over the past few years, but more than anything, it's been a joy to watch her motivate the group of kids I coach. I have a few that truly look up to her, and they work very hard because they want to fly stunts like hers. I get asked if they can "try" ball up 360s on a weekly basis, and I don't imagine it changing anytime soon. Thanks again and best of luck!

I wish nothing but luck to Maddie as she starts a new chapter in her life. I honestly hope that she enjoys every minute of the peace she will start to get from the crazy people out there. I may not be a CEA fan but I will never deny the talent and class that this young woman has.

Good Luck StarshipTrooper and Maddie. I have enjoyed watching her grow up through the years. She is an amazingly talented young lady in every aspect of her life. You guys have done a great job with her and I will truly miss seeing her on the mat. There is definitely a part of me that is excited for her to be able to get away from some of the drama and hate that is spewed towards her. Can't wait till the day I turn the t.v. channel and get to see her face again!

Best wishes to the family and as an NC State graduate I'll even say so to Maddie even though she chose Carolina..... :) Best of luck to all and I hope she has a fabulous time in college!! (and you have a fabulous time not having to pay for it all with the scholarships!!) She was the first flyer that ever caught my attention when I entered this crazy industry and their 2009 performance is still my favorite :)

His daughter Cassie goes to NC State.....lol

I just want to say that it's been my pleasure to be able to watch and try and learn from the Gardner Family! They are the most humble, gracious people I have ever met. From the moment Sarah sat in the parent area listening to my 6/7 year old tell her all about the skills she was working on and always asked her about them when she would see her to the time when little bit got her first phone and she asked Sarah for her number and she gave it to her. There little bit was texting Ms Sarah pretty frequently and when I told Sarah that if she wanted to ignore little bit that there would be no hard feelings from her Dad and I she wouldn't hear of it. Said how much she enjoyed talking to her. (And I'm sure that wasn't true but she said it anyway). The Gardner's are good people. They have raised remarkably talented and down to earth children. We should all hope that we do as well as they have!!! StarshipTrooper your family will definitely be missed by MsTeal and family!

Long Live Maddie G!!!

I have never seen a person w/texting skills like Sarah!! You feel like you still have her full attention when you're talking to her in person, no matter how many times she looks at her phone or texts-the craziest thing I've seen! I wish I was like that!

It's hard to say goodbye. StarshipTrooper, its always been nice having you be there to bring me back down to earth in terms. Haha. I'd always be like, "Omg. Senior Elite is so good, they're amazing and gonna rule the world." But you we're always there to say... "They are looking good but have a lot of work ahead of them. Lots of problems to fix. We'll see what happens..." It always helped me be realistic about the situation hahaha. But anyway, I'll miss you on the boards. I've spoken to Maddie and Sarah a couple of times... your family are extremely nice people. I only hope one day when I have children, I can raise them with the poise and grace that you've raised your children with. Thank you!!! Long Live StarshipTrooper! :)
