Southern Cheer in Gainesville, GA (less than an hour north of Atlanta) is currently looking for All-Star Cheer Coaches and tumbling/stunt Instructors for the upcoming season (some positions available now). Pay based on level of experience and student retention/request/success. This season we currently fielded 6 teams and are projecting to grow even more next year. There will be many opportunities for private tumble/stunt lessons available.

All-Star Coach
Able to teach routine levels 1-4 (jumps, stunts, pyramids, tumbling, transitions)
Understanding of competition scoresheet (mainly Varsity) and USASF rules
Previous choreography experience desired but not required
Works well with athletes ages 4 – 18 female and male
Tumbling Instructor
Able to teach and spot levels 1 – 4 tumbling. (standing, front, and running)
Ability to implement tumbling curriculum to keep a dynamic class atmosphere (not spot and wait in line)
Awareness that a handstand, cartwheel, and round off are every bit as important to our progressions and program as a standing stuck or RO BHS Full
Works well with athletes ages 4 – 18 female and male
Stunt Instructor
Able to teach appropriate group stunts level 1 - 4 with creative loan-ins, transitions, and dismounts
Working knowledge of appropriate and effective grips for stunts level 1 – 4.
Able to teach coed/double base stunts for levels 1 – 4.
Works well with athletes ages 4 – 18 female and male.
