I searched in the Worlds forum and couldn't find the answer so sorry if this is a repost.
How much would it cost as a spectator to go to worlds? not including airfare (I'll do freq flyer).
hotel
cost to get into disney
cost to get into worlds
whatever else I may be missing

I'd really like to go this year (well 2012) but I need to know how much I should be saving up. from what I've seen it isn't cheap. and fundraisers are not an option...I'm a former coach taking some mom time who wants to support kids I've coached :)

there is a parkhopper pass which also includes the entrance for the wwos, this costs 190$ for 3 days or 250$ for 5 days.
this doesnt include hotel.

last year I stayed in a hotel nearby. a whole lot cheaper. I took a rental car to go to the park which was only 5 mins away. thay way I also ate outside the park, which is cheaper than inside disney. also after the competition I could drive around in florida and visit other stuff than disney:)

My sister and I have gone for the last 2 years and I am VERY proud of our budgeting for the trip. We booked through Expedia, and including airfare (I know you said you weren't concerned with this, but I don't know how it broke down without the airfare) hotel, and rental car it cost each of us $320. We flew in late Friday night and flew back to Chicago early Monday. We stayed at the Destiny Palms Maingate West in Kissimmee and it's not a luxury hotel by any means but we were safe, the beds are comfortable, there's TV and honestly- we weren't there all that much!

We did not buy parkhopper passes- we were only there for cheerleading and not interested in Disney. Admission cost $50 total. You can bring food into the WWOS so we visited the local Publix (grocery store chain) and made pb & j sandwiches and bought a few snacks as well. This helped save on the snacking- we did splurge on a Wetzel Pretzel though, as everyone should.

Hope this was helpful! The guide that ACEDAD posted is very helpful as well- it's saved on my desktop :)

Thanks! We did it for $291 in 2009- my shining moment of travel planning, haha. It can be done for not a whole lot if you really do your research!

KOA baby. we stayed in my SUV and saved a ton not getting a hotel. plus it was easier to wake up earlier because of the sun:)

Total Staying on disney property (allstar) - $533 (includes transportation on magical express and $50 admission to WWOS)
Total Staying off property - $350-400 (Includes basic rental car, cheap hotel in kissimmee, and admission to WWOS)
Total Through USASF - 3 nights 1 person - $745 (no other costs besides the room which includes transportation and parkhopper)

It is definitely more beneficial to find someone to go with you.
I stayed with 4 people in a room on a disney property. With air fare, rental car, admission, and room, it cost each of us less than $400.
