Is this is a new competition (or newer)? I didn't know Spirit Sports had anything in the Northeast.

I think I have attended this competition for at least 7 years, probably more. It's not a bad competition, but this year it just dragged. There were 10-15 minute breaks (scheduled but seemed unneccesary) between almost every team in the later sessions (not sure about the morning/afternoon). Competition ended just after 6 on day 2 and awards were at 7:30 - and the venue was closed except for the one awards room so the kids were starving and there was no concessions available. I also have an issue with the 2 day rate being published on the website at $35 but them actually charging $40, and no social media updates or placements available. Just seems like this competition has gone downhill but got more expensive. Since it is our first one of the season besides Cheer Alliance, I'm hoping it isn't a trend with all EPs.Is this is a new competition (or newer)? I think the competition itself is very well run. We've also been coming here for years. I have always found the problem to be more with the venue. And the workers for the DCU Center are mean and nasty. And they have so many dumb rules.I think I have attended this competition for at least 7 years, probably more. Elite all stars sr1 were lvl1 grand champs and PRO took lvl 2 and 3...those were the only ones I was still there for [emoji16]Does anyone have results and Grand Champs?
So I'm just currious....I saw ECE take 2 D2 champion awards.....does the whole franchise thing only count toward bids? They're are so many new rules it's very confusing

Lol....I wasn't sure I know there are smaller locations of ECE but varsity changes their rules and qualifications so often it's really hard to keep up....congrats on your weekend your teams looked great :)I think they made the correction... we r not d2

They do consider the depth of the field also, but all-star scoring doesn't seem to be standard all the time and honestly I have not taken any training but to the lay person somethings just doesn't make sense.I saw that pro j2 got the highest score of the day, but pro j3 got paid summit bid. How does that work?

Also there is this little disclaimer:
- The Committee may take into con- sideration the following criteria when awarding bids:
- Scores/ Percentage of Perfection
- Depth of Division
- Sportsmanship
