I'd focus more on getting your shins/toes over your head. If you're only driving your knees but leaving your toes behind, it will slow your tuck a lot. Lie on the ground on your back, arms at your side. Throw your arms up over your head and drive your toes up and behind your head into a tuck position as quick as you can. It will work your abs but also give you the feeling of driving your feet over your head
