It started with a phone call…Kristina Parrish had been booking hotels at competitions for cheer families for five years and was ready to move onto the next phase…creating family friendly events beginning with this summer’s Cheer Cruise and Beach Camp.
I was impressed with her vision and desire to create something “for cheer parents, by cheer parents” something that fit CHEERMaD’s mission of supporting those who support the sport of cheer with their time and their money~ Cheer moms and dads. She offered to provide the grand prize of the Cheer Cruise and Beach Camp for the Certifiably CHEERMaD contest in exchange for sponsorship promotional opportunities.
CONGRATULATIONS Kristina-you did it! Tomorrow (Tuesday, July 24) kicks off the very first Cheer Cruise and Beach Camp when families start arriving from all over the country.- Cheerleaders will get the best coaching, siblings share in the fun and the cheer parents receive something very rare-a vacation the whole family will enjoy!
Then everyone boards the Norwegian Cruise Lines Sky on Friday for more family fun!
