I like that you are being honest that you aren't a cheerleader, coach, etc. Big props for honesty. You would be shocked how many people lie about stuff like that.

Take it from a mama who does NaNoWriMo every single year (and has for the past 4 years); pick a subject or topic that you're interested in that requires the least amount of research! I have a daily goal is 5,000 words to hit every single day in November and if I had to reach research as I wrote I'd never make that goal. I applaud your effort; but don't use cheer for NaNoWriMo---use it for a more long-term project.
