What if instead of a DI/DII split they just give the top placing small gyms a trophy recognizing their achievement? Don't they already do something like that in international divisions with nations cup? Say you placed 5th overall, but were the top placing gym in the division with less than 150 athletes. You get your fifth place trophy and a "Top of the Worlds" trophy saying yes you're small, but can still hang with the big dogs. I think it creates a bit of an everyone's a winner mentality (which I hate), but I like this so much more than creating new division splits.

Actually, this whole surprise announcement thing is making me kinda mad. Do other sports do this? You wouldn't see FIG tweet something like "gym fans... We have a BIG SURPRISE ABOUT WORLDS coming for you this Wednesday!"

After having the champion performance this year, I just feel like they're going to have an actually overall world champion or split worlds up by division. I haven't figured out which one but one of the two.
