Okay, so this summer I want to set up a daily workout schedule for cheer to train at home. I was thinking of training at least 2 1/2 hours a day. I need ideas on what I should do at home and what I need to train. Can anyone help by telling me what you do and what you use to train for cheer (mostly tumbling) at home? Thank you.
This is what I have so far at home:
A tumbling mat.
A mini trampoline.
A stunt strap.
A cheese mat.
And a big, empty room that I will use for my home gym. :)

I'd suggest you set up a plan with your coach. I give you tons of credit for your work ethic but working the wrong things might backfire - fir example if you start to concentrate on one skill without realizing you aren't doing it 100% correctly (which happens all the time) it might be tough to break the habit.
I certainly don't want to discourage you in any way. Your team is lucky to have such a dedicated worker!

I agree with fullpass. But something I would suggest that I do now is run/bike for about 30 minutes to an hour. To work on your cardio for the routine. Plus, running and biking is good for your legs and it works your thighs, glutes, and calves. I also have a pull up bar and ab straps that go onto the pullup bar. And to mix up workouts, with the ab straps, do sets of 10 knee ups to the front and sides to work abs and obliques. Then do leg ups as well. Then for each set of 10, do 10 push ups and 5 pullups. I feel its an excellent workout that doesn't take much to do but gets you sweating and you'll definitely see results:) good luck!
