Music Transfering 8-count Sheet To Acid???

okay i know u cant ACTUALLY transfer it into acid but i wanted to ask anyone thats uses acid, how do u use an 8-count sheet and match it with acid (ex. do u use markers?) cuz this is a BIG problem i have.

Yea, we use the markers to measure out each 8 count. Our template comes laid out ready for a forty five 8 count mix, and that makes mapping the routine much easier! Just use the "M" key to drop a marker every 8 beats for as many 8 counts as you need. Hope it helps!

I find that putting a marker on every eight count is a little cluttered. I change the timing of the session to 8/4 time and then put a marker on 11, 21, 31, and 41 and then use the section feature to mark my sections at the top so I can see where they are. This is really easy on the eyes since I have to stare at a computer screen all day. Hope this helps

One advantage to using a Marker on every 8 count, is when it's time to make changes I just hit the Coresponding numbers for the 8-counts and the cursor jumps directly to that 8-count. All you gotta do it open acid and Hit the letter "M" on 1.1 and 3.1 and 5.1. That will set your markers for every 8-count.

yeah 8/4 labels the 8 counts without placing 45 markers in the way. it's the same thing without all the clutter. Both ways work....one just looks neater.
