Trying Out For Cheer, Never Done Cheer Before

Hi all!
I am a Freshman in high school and am thinking of trying out for cheer this Monday. I have never have done cheer before because my Middle school didn't offer it, but I want to try it this year.
Any tips? Anything is appreciated!
