All-Star Tumbling Question!

hey!
so i have been working very hard on my tumbling and have my round off handspring tuck solid and and working on my round off handspring layout. I was wondering if within a year if i work hard is it possible to get a full? how long did it take you guys?

i know a girl who just started taking classes a in may. she started out with her tuck solid and now has just gotten her full this week. so it's very possible!

definantly! i was put on a level 5 team my first year of cheering because i progressed quickly. and once you get your layout solid and in the right form, getting a full should be a breeze (: good luck.

It's obviously been done before, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will be able to. Make sure you focus on making your layout perfect before you start twisting. Just stay positive and focused and you'll be doing the best you can :)

I started tumbling the September when I was 12. Got my Backhandspring the first day of gymnastics. Started All-Star Cheer that December, turned 13. Got my Roundoff BHS Tuck solid that May. That July got my Roundoff BHS Full, and the following Summer when I was 14 I got my Rounoff BHS Double! Takes hard work and determination, but you can do it. I worked hard to gain my skills because I was told that I would never be able to tumble because I was too old. (12 years old) so I had to prove them wrong. Good luck with your tumbling training, lots of core will help gain your hollow body for your layout and help control your twisting skills!!! best wishes!

I'm working on mine now, and it really just depends on what you think you can do. Don't ask people online about how you can tumble. It's possible to probably get a full in a couple of days or it could take weeks, months, or even years. Depends on how dedicated you are to get it and if you are, I'm sure you can. If you doubt yourself, it'll show. Make a goal, be like, I WILL get it by the end of this year and it's amazing how that works if you stick to it. My goal is to for sure get a full, and atleast to start attempting a double on the floor. I'll see how it goes (: and good luck to you, you can do it!
