High School Uca Dances

Does anyone have videos of dances that score well at UCA competitions, or advice for getting a great score on a dance? We have never scored higher than a 3.5 on a dance and those are easy points I am sick of losing! At this point I feel like we've tried a lot of different things and I can't figure out what the judges are looking for as far as choreography goes because they never leave comments on that part!

Thanks for linking! I was hoping for some videos. I've read through that one. I know all the standard info of sharp, levels, 3 8 cts, etc, but yet we never score well! I was hoping someone may share videos of high scoring dances!!

Right, even teams that score in the top 3 every year could have awful scores on dances and are making the points up with their tumbling or something! If I were a judge, I guess I'd score Madison central's dance pretty high from nationals 2012. Hope that helps.

Yeah, it has all of the parts. I don't love the dance itself but it has all of the moving parts needed, levels, ripples, synchro, floor work, etc. :-)
