All-Star Usasf Membership For 2011-2012 And Small Gyms

If I understand the new rules correctly, all athletes will have to become registered members of USASF next year. How will this work with smaller gyms that are not certified USASF gyms? Is it truly mandatory?

Gym certification is still optional, but will likely be mandatory in a few years.

Athlete membership is only mandatory if they want to compete at an event sponsored by a member of USASF.

so say they want to go to Jamfest of US Finals, can the girls all become individual members even if the gym is not?
