It will be all level 5s against them, like restricted and so on. 5s never seem to have that high of scores

See two years ago our restricted teams were against both of CA austin's 5 - worlds and restricted.
Since level 5 are so divided there aren't always that many teams they compete against so no one seems to have a super high score

Thoughts on this award and level 5:
The field of competition isn't usually very deep. Often there is only 1-2 teams per division for j5, R5 or worlds divisions until you get to the larger national competitions.
In Texas, worlds level 5 teams go to comps looking to gain bids and money for worlds which are not varsity comps (ASC, Spirit Celebration, Cheer America, United Cheer).
This seems more to be an award designed for levels 1-4 which is great. It's difficult for a level 5 team to achieve a score high enough to qualify.
