Hi Fierce Board 
Long-time member here… I’ve been around since the days of ball-up 360’s, 2x2 videos, the rise of cheerlebrities, and yes… the bra brigades (iykyk). I genuinely grew up on these boards. I still pop in from time to time... usually around Worlds... to join in on the chaos and fun.
But today, I’m here with a different kind of post, hoping some of my fellow long-time Fierce Boarders might be able to help.
I recently found myself volunteering for a small all-star program in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. We train in a tiny space with two dead mats… yet despite that, the program has grown from 6 athletes to over 40 in just a couple of years.
And now something incredible has happened.
Our U16 Level 2 team has been invited to compete at the 2026 Canadian All-Star Nationals next April... an event that brings together 7,000+ athletes over four days. “Excited” doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel. But we also know we have a massive mountain ahead of us to make this trip possible for our athletes and their families.
As you all know, international travel for a sport like cheerleading is far from cheap. And I just can’t accept finances as the reason these girls miss out on what could be the experience of a lifetime. We are pulling out every fundraising idea, every sponsorship angle, every resource we can... so the girls can focus on training, visas, and turning this once-impossible dream into reality.
I know there are countless causes out there. But if cheer has shaped your life the way it has shaped mine… and if you understand how life-changing a competition experience like this could be for a small program in a little beach town… we would be deeply grateful for any support.
