CP was tapped this week. Anyone heading back for tap week this year?

Congrats! Babydonna didn't get tapped this time. Please let me know what it's like for your CP! It sounds like fun! Babydonna said several kids in her cabin got tapped! She was in 14A.

yes, please do tell us what it is like! It's during my cp's first or 2nd week of school (I'm a little confused whether it's week 11 or 12 this year). We talked about the possibility of letting cp go even though school has started ... but she had been home one day after 2 weeks at camp and she was too tired to even think about going back!

Can someone elaborate what being "tapped" means?

If you are tapped it means you are invited to come back for week 12 at a reduced fee with all the other athletes who have been tapped throughout the summer. Someone isn't tapped because they are necessarily the best but because they were found to work extremely hard that week and have an amazing attitude. They may or may not have even have met their goals but put in utmost effort throughout their entire stay. You also get the coveted "tapped" Woodward bracelet.

We are leaning toward sending her back. She's just not sure she wants to go back alone. One of her teammates was also tapped but is not sure if she's going. A couple of the girls that she got close with in her cabin were also tapped so if they go that should help! I told her most of the kids would be "alone" because it's tap week. I'd hate to see her miss out b/c she doesn't want to go without a friend.
