10 from each division of small coed, small senior, and medium coedi need some clarification too..
10 teams in TOTAL go to day 1 out of ALL at larges? thats a small number!
so the "regular divisions" (not international) dont have the _# from each country, its just one big competition to make it to day 1 sort of? cause isnt there around 60 teams competing in prelims?10 from each division of small coed, small senior, and medium coed
so the schedule is set up like
round 1- At larges for small coed, small senior, medium coed
round 2- top 10 from each division above plus the paid bid teams and also all teams (at large and paid) from medium senior, large senior, large coed
round 3- top 10 from all divisions from round 2
international divisions are a little more complicated
Yes, the senior divisions do not have 3 teams per country, that's only for the international divisions. The whole competition is separated by divisions, it's just top 10 from each round move on to the next round in each division. Every team (around 300 or so, idk the number) competes in prelims for their division. Small senior, small coed and medium coed have that initial prelims for the at large bids because those tend to be the bigger divisions with 50+ teams so they try to eliminate some teams early.so the "regular divisions" (not international) dont have the _# from each country, its just one big competition to make it to day 1 sort of? cause isnt there around 60 teams competing in prelims?
