Hey everyone! My collegiate team in northern wisconsin just got back from competing at a national competition... (grand champs!!) Our approach to cheerleading is not the traditional college look.... We take on an allstar mentality for our team. Our routines do not have a cheer, nor do we ever use poms, signs, or megaphones. (We still partner stunt, but defiantly incorporate quad stunts) We go to allstar competitions, and compete on a 9-panel spring floor for the majority of the season. While our uniforms look more classic, we tend to compete with glitter makeup or heavy eyeshadow, and do our hair in a way that you see with allstar teams. Bows are to the front, big, and glitzy. Personally, I come from an allstar background, and love the approach. I feel though that this is a rarity, and most college teams that I see do the exact opposite of what we do. I wanted to know what your thoughts were about this, and if you guys have been on a college team like this before?
