That's news to me. I didn't know it was a requirement. We had 1 pike, and then hurdler triple toe in the same sequence and did just fine.

Tsunami- Injuries...routine stopped day 1. I did not see them re-do the routine day 1 but there had already been tumbling touch downs and stunt fall and a couple tumbling ommisions. Day 2 rinse and repeat minus injury stopping the routine. Not a banner weekend for them but their day 2 Uniforms look AWESOME on stage and the girls are very sweet.

Lol I love how Jeff Webb is doing commentary he OWNS Varsity which owns the USASF! And he still seems so clueless.....

Yea I mean double full baskets? I know exactly what he was talking about but it was just wrong. Double twisting yes. Double full no....the whole thing was awkward. Or that individual running passes are just for effect.... Again I know he meant that squad tumbling maxes the score...but that's not how it comes across...especially if it was to educate the lay-person about allstar.

That was honestly painful to listen to. Awk commentary. But it was WONDERFUL to watch. I love Angels routine this year! And that was fabulous

lol adding to the commentary thing...I wrote an article discussing Worlds and Pittsburgh sending 3 teams on paid bids in the same division--my teacher was dying because I kept trying to use technical jargon because I felt uneducated writing "the top-girls start in the hands of her bases and are thrown into the air, before they are caught and they switch the leg they stand on." instead of saying a tick-tock. he wanted me to explain stunts and tumbling and even choreography movements in normal terms. it was not easy.

That I understand. Sorry, he made it sound like you needed 2 separate jump sequences in different parts of the routine. And with my 3 hours of sleep, I could not wrap my brain around how I would have missed that memo. haha
